Acne can be caused by numerous factors, but there are a few key causes that are very important to learn. Raised pimples, whiteheads and blackheads are mainly caused by these factors. Excessive sebum production, obstacles in skin orifices, action of usual skin microorganisms like bacteria, and inflammation of the skin are among main indications of acne. Sebaceous glands cause oil secretions so are among major causes of acne.
The acne bacteria named Propionobacterium acnes produce and replicate in the retained sebum oil. Sebum provides growth and replication medium to Propionobacterium acnes. These also attract and draw white blood cells from the blood. The inflammation often caused during acne is mainly because of these bacteria while on top of the skin, this inflammation appears as pimples, rashes or zits. Inflammation of the facial skin can injure facial cells and generate collagen. Depressing scars can be appeared because of the collagen formation. Collagen creation can cause these scars more rigid. According to a recent report, hormones, diet, evolutionary biology, deficiency of the vitamins, stress are among the major causes of the Acne.
Saturated fat foods are another cause of acne. Such foods include burgers, pizzas, meat, French fries, and some other junk meals. Such foods can make acne problem more sever. Some vegetable oils are another acne producing foods. Pasta sauces, chips, and beans are cooked in vegetable oils. Vegetable oils cause acne by restricting anti-inflammatory hormone and changing it into pro-inflammatory hormone.
Sugar can also cause acne. Foods for example sugary sodas, cakes, cookies, chocolates, are rich in sugar content. Insulin level is increased after consumption of these sugary foods, creating conditions which can promote acne. Always try to avoid sugary foods if you want to reduce the likelihood of exacerbating your acne and take steps to eat a healthy, well balanced meals.
Most cases of acne can be treated with a pore cleanser. People with severly acne prone skin should use a dermatologist product in place of their normal shampoo, conditioner and shave cream.
The most important step to take in treating acne is to carefully watch your diet. By carefully choosing the type of foods you eat, you can help prevent the conditions which cause acne.
